About the experience
What can I expect from the event?
Karts District is an immersive entertainment experience where real-world racing meets virtual reality. The main attraction is an exciting AR karting circuit, where players can race through interactive tracks enhanced with digital effects, power-ups, and immersive gameplay elements.
Beyond the track, guests can explore a VR Arena designed for multiplayer action and interactive challenges, as well as a selection of VR games and simulators.
Where is the experience located?
Karts District is located at Greenwood Plaza Shopping Centre in the heart of North Sydney CBD. Conveniently positioned directly above North Sydney train station, the venue is easily accessible by public transport and sits within one of the area’s busiest commuter and lifestyle hubs.
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
This experience takes place in an indoor venue.
How long does the experience last?
Our karting races last around 15 minutes, the immersive VR Arena experience is approximately 20 minutes, and our VR Machines offer shorter interactive experiences of around 5 minutes each.
If you’d like to fully enjoy everything we offer, we’d recommend planning for around 1 hour in total to make the most of the experience.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
Unfortunately, there will be no food or drinks available for purchase at this event. However, we are located inside Greenwood Plaza, where you’ll find plenty of food and drink options nearby.
Is there parking available?
There is no dedicated parking available for Karts District, and we recommend travelling by public transport where possible, as the venue is located directly above North Sydney train station inside Greenwood Plaza Shopping Centre.
If you do plan to drive, paid parking is available nearby at the Greenwood Plaza Car Park, located at 90 Pacific Highway, North Sydney. There are also additional public parking options and limited street parking available throughout the North Sydney CBD area.
Will there be additional sessions?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee there will be extra dates. Please refer to the experience page for updated information on availability, as those are the confirmed dates and timings.
Is there Virtual Reality?
Our Karts experience uses augmented reality (AR), which combines the real world with digital elements that are projected onto the environment around you. Participants drive real karts on a physical track while interacting with virtual features and game elements integrated into the experience.
All of our other experiences are based on virtual reality (VR), where participants wear VR headsets and are fully immersed in a digital environment, allowing them to explore, interact, and play within entirely virtual worlds.
Is there a dress code?
There's no defined dress code for this experience; a casual look will be fine.
Will there be merchandise for sale?
There will not be merchandise for sale at the event.
About tickets
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
We will have a box office on site. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets in the Fever App (available on Google Play and the Apple App Store) or on the Fever website. Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number. Do I need to print my ticket?
You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from Google Play or the Apple App Store). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase. You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email. I can't find my ticket. What should I do?
You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the “Tickets” section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from available on Google Play or the Apple App Store. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us. Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?
Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your event. If you would like to make the change, please contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase. You can also check if this option is available by consulting your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever App where, if enabled, the "Change date and/or time" button will appear. Follow the steps indicated in the link to change the date and/or time of the ticket. Refunds are not allowed, except as required under Australian Consumer Law. Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
Please arrive at the time stated on your ticket; late entry is not permitted.
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed in this event’s location, though we do welcome service animals.
Is the experience accessible?
The event is being held in an accessible venue. However, our karting experience is unfortunately not accessible. Guests can still enjoy our VR experiences, including both the VR Arena and our VR Machines.
Please note that some VR experiences may have certain physical requirements in order to participate, but once at the venue, guests can decide which experiences they would like to take part in.
What are the prohibited items at the experience?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the venue. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited. Any other behavior that may disturb or inconvenience other guests is also not allowed.
Do you offer carer tickets?
Guests requiring assistance throughout this experience are entitled to one free pass for their personal assistant/support worker. Please contact us here with proof of a companion card. Once we receive this, we will provide you with a voucher that you can use to purchase your free carer ticket (based on availability). Please keep in mind that you will have to show the regular ticket with this carer ticket when entering the venue. Is the experience accessible for deaf/visually impaired people?
Unfortunately, this experience could not be adapted for the visually and/or hearing impaired. We are doing our best to make all of our experiences inclusive and recommend that you take a look at other experiences in your city.
Will there be strobe lights?
This event will include strobe lights.
Will restrooms be available on site?
There will not be restrooms inside our venue, but guests will have access to the restrooms available within Greenwood Plaza.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Yes, you’re welcome to take photos and short videos with your mobile phone, as long as it doesn’t disrupt the experience or other guests. We kindly ask that professional equipment not be used unless previously approved.
Is there a Lost & Found?
We would recommend asking the staff at the venue if they have found your belongings. If you cannot ask them on site, please contact us. Is coat check available?
Unfortunately, this venue has no coat check, but there will be lockers available to store jackets, phones and personal belongings.
Is there an age requirement?
Children aged 5+ can participate in the AR Karting, although the track may be slightly challenging for younger kids. We would generally recommend ages 7–8+ for a more comfortable experience.
Will there be an audio guide?
No, this experience does not include an audio guide.
